[Felix The Cat Redesign]

Loved Felix back in the day. The bandana gives him a bit of a Sonoc boom vibe, but I dig it.

In 100 years (Crazy isn't it!) Felix hasn't changed much design wise and I wanted to see if I could give him a fresh coat of paint as it were. Hence the white fur parts. In the original draft he didn't have the scarf and had a white tummy instead, but he came out way too Sonic looking.

I was also going to include his magic bag of tricks, but I took issue with it being a separate accessory and not an integral part of his design. I needed a better way to break up his silhouette and it just clicked! As iconic as his magic bag is, as a scarf it plays much better to his strengths as a mischievous tramp like character. I really do think it helps evolve Felix as a character.
